Dopo essere rimasta imprigionata in uno stato simile al coma per quindici anni, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) scopre di avere una figlia quattordicenne, Nissa un ibrido tra un vampiro e un Lycan. Selene in cerca della figlia si troverà ad dover affrontare e fermare la multinazionale BioCom, che sta cercando di creare super razza di Lycan in grado di uccidere tutti gli ibridi.
