A volte, terminato un libro o un fumetto, ci sono autori che arrivano a rinnegare completamente i loro lavori. Altre volte, più semplicemente, con il passare del tempo ci si pente di alcune scelte narrative, come è accaduto a J.K. Rowling, che non riesce a perdonarsi la morte di un personaggio di Harry Potter.
Anche quando si tratta di prodotti di successo, che sono diventati film o serie tv che hanno conquistato il pubblico, registrando livelli di gradimento altissimi, come nel caso del leggendario Twin Peaks e di The Walking Dead, produzione ancora in corso (qui un’anteprima della seconda parte della quinta stagione, gli scrittori che hanno dato origine ai mondi narrati, non si perdonano alcuni passaggi, alcune morti dei loro personaggi o certi finali.
