Si sono tenuti qualche giorno fa, a Los Angeles, i Critics’ Choice Awards, i premi assegnati dalla Broadcast Television Journalists Association alle migliori produzioni televisive (serie tv, film e mini-serie) e ai migliori interpreti del piccolo schermo. A trionfare quest’anno sono stati Orange is the new Black e Fargo, che hanno ottenuto tre premi a testa. Alla prima i riconoscimenti per la Miglior Serie Comedy, la Miglior Attrice Non Protagonista (Kate Mulgrew) e la Miglior Guest in una serie comedy (Uzo Aduba). A Fargo, invece, sono stati assegnati i premi per la Miglior Miniserie, Miglior Attore di una Miniserie (Billy Bon Thortnton) e Miglior Attrice Non Protagonista di una Miniserie (Allison Tolman).
A seguire Breaking Bad, che si è aggiudicata il titolo per Miglior Drama, e The Normal Heart, il miglior film per la tv. Miglior attore drammatico, quest’anno, è stato Matthew McConaughey che ha portato l’ennesimo riconoscimento a casa per la sua interpretazione in True Detective della HBO.
