Trevor è un geologo che, insieme a suo figlio Sean, scopre un messaggio segreto in un antico manoscritto, il volume originale di Viaggio al centro della Terra di Jules Verne: cercando di risolvere l’enigma nascosto, i due intraprenderanno un fantastico viaggio che li condurrà fino al centro della Terra in cui dovranno affrontare situazioni e creature mai viste prima.
