Michele (Clemente Russo) e Rosario (Carmine Recano) sono due ragazzini poveri di Marcianise che, una volta adulti, prendono due strade completamente differenti: Michele vincerà nel 2007 il titolo dei pesi massimi a Chicago, mentre Rosario diventerà un boss mafioso. Il film è tratto dal romanzo di Roberto Saviano, La Bellezza e l’Inferno.
