Ambientazione: Los Angeles. Un gruppo di amici, dopo una festa, viene risvegliato da una luce proveniente dalla finestra. Alzatisi, scoprono che delle luci blu scendono improvvisamente dal cielo e attirano decine di migliaia di persone. Gli alieni attaccano la terra, inghiottendo l’intera popolazione terrestre. Devono trovare una soluzione per non essere risucchiati anche loro… Il tutto avviene in 3 giorni, 72 ore di inferno puro.
