Il quinto capitolo della saga horror parodistica prende di mira alcuni dei maggiori successi cinematografici degli ultimi anni, come Paranormal Activity, Inception, Il Cigno Nero e 127 Ore. Quando una coppia comincia a rimanere vittima di strane attività paranormali, chiama un gruppo di esperti per risolvere la faccenda. Presto scopriranno di essere perseguitati da un demone.
