Il Capitano è, suo malgrado e nonostante la lussureggiante barba, uno dei pirati meno temibili dei sette mari. Ma lui e la sua fedelissima ciurma hanno un sogno: sconfiggere i loro rivali Black Bellamy e Cutlass Liz nel “Pirate of the Year Award”. Per raggiungere il loro scopo s’imbarcheranno in imprese che li porteranno dalle spiaggie della Blood Island fino alle nebbiose via della Londra vittoriana, e si imbatteranno inoltre nella regina Vittoria e in un giovane Charles Darwin.
