Lo scoiattolo Surly viene bandito dal parco e costretto a vivere nella città. Fortunatamente si imbatte in qualcosa che potrebbe significare la sopravvivenza sua e di tutta la comunità del parco che si appresta ad affronatre un inverno particolarmente rigido: Maury’s Nut Store, un negozio che vende noci di ogni tipo.
