A 22 anni dal Jurassic Park, il parco di dinosauri della Ingen apre finalmente le porte al pubblico. Le nuove attrazioni entusiasmano i visitatori, e il progresso della ricerca genetica ha permesso di creare direttamente in laboratorio nuove specie. Ma quando una delle nuove creature sfugge al controllo seminando terrore e morte per Isla Nublar, per i protagonisti ha inizio una furiosa lotta per la sopravvivenza.
