Il cavaliere oscuro – Il ritorno è il terzo e ultimo film della saga sull’Uomo Pipistrello diretta da Christopher Nolan e interpretata dal premio Oscar Christian Bale, aka Batman. A otto anni dalla morte di Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckart), il tasso di criminalità di Gotham City è calato drasticamente, mentre Batman e Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) devono convivere con un segreto che inizia a pesare come un macigno. Questa volta il cattivo di turno sarà Bane (Tom Hardy), uno spietato terrorista dotato di una forza sovraumana e di una mente brillante, costretto a respirare un gas per sedare dei dolori fisici atroci.
