Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) e il resto dei mercenari, stavolta devono affrontare Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), che anni prima aveva fondato insieme a Barney il collaudato gruppo action. Ma quando divenne uno trafficante d’armi senza scrupoli, Barney fu costretto ad ucciderlo… o almeno così pensava, perché quando il suo vecchio alleato torna alla carica, le cose cominciano a farsi pesanti. Servono dunque forze fresche da affiancare alla vecchia scuola per avere la meglio sulla nuova minaccia. E Barney ha i nomi giusti per la missione.
